About the Polling
Since September 27, the Auto Alliance and the Entertainment Software Association commissioned Pulse Opinion Research to survey 175 likely voters on Sunday to Thursday nights in Ohio and Florida. Polls are not conducted on evenings when presidential or vice-presidential debates are held. The 3-night roll of 525 voters in each state has a margin of error of about +/- 4.4 percentage points; the 5-night roll of 875 voters in each state has a margin of error of about +/- 3.4 percentage points. The 3-day and 5-day rolls reflect polling results over the previous three and five days respectively. We do not poll on Friday or Saturday night. We also are not polling on evenings when presidential or vice-presidential debates are held. The sample was conducted with a combination of land line and online interviews.
